Another trip to NYC and another great conference in the form of Finovate Fall 2023 in the books! Each year fintech companies from all over congregate to showcase their latest innovations and network with fellow enthusiasts. In this year’s 2 day event over 375 financial institutions were represented, including 10 of the top 10 banks in the U.S. Many of these representatives arrived at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square to watch more than 70 fintechs demo their disruptive technologies in a seven-minute display.
While he wasn’t busy moderating a star-studded panel on embedded finance, KCD PR President, Kevin Dinino, had a chance to check some of these firms out.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Headquartered in Royal Oak, MI, and founded in 2015, Bankjoy delivers modern banking technology, including mobile and online banking, and a banking API to regional banks, neobanks, and credit unions.
Chimney for its Chimney Home solution that gives homeowners actionable advice about their home value, equity, borrowing power, and pre-qualified offers.
Debbie for its rewards app for debt payout and its new credit card refinance marketplace for credit unions.

Wealth Access is an enterprise customer data insights platform that works with financial services’ existing books and records to enrich and unify data. The firm is headquartered in Nashville, TN, and was founded in 2012.
Many of the firms who chose to demo are working to combat the ever-growing issue of fraud by using new tools like artificial intelligence. While not every bank or financial institution has the capabilities, close to all players in the industry are exploring ways to minimize the impact of fraudulent activity and bad actors.
