Leading payroll connectivity provider, Argyle, came to KCD PR needing fintech PR support in its efforts to grow brand recognition in the mortgage space. The mortgage vertical was a new area of business for this financial technology firm. Having no previous exposure, Argyle tasked KCD PR with increasing their brand awareness through earned media, event support, and thought leadership in housing and mortgage-specific industry media outlets.

Solution

KCD PR designed and implemented a marketing campaign to first build credibility for Argyle as a provider of mortgage-related services. To do this, KCD PR targeted industry-specific outlets to insert Argyle executives in a myriad of influential conversations, ranging from market commentary to profile pieces on their technology and its merit and relevance to mortgage lenders and their customers. Once KCD PR solidified Argyle’s position as a thought leader in mortgage publications, we expanded our strategy to the national conversation, securing coverage in top-tier media outlets.

Results

KCD PR secured coverage in top-tier outlets like Forbes and garnered consistent results in mortgage industry publications like HousingWire (in which we established a quarterly byline cadence), American Banker, Scotsman Guide, and National Mortgage News. KCD PR successfully positioned John Hardesty, Argyle’s GM of Mortgage as a thought leader and expert on direct source data. Hardesty was named to HousingWire’s 2023 HW Insiders and the firm’s CEO, Shmulik Fishman was named a 2023 Tech Trendsetter.

KCD PR successfully garnered earned media coverage in industry outlets for each mortgage-related company announcement dating back to the beginning of the campaign. An announcement regarding Argyle’s integration with ICE Mortgage was covered by HousingWire, National Mortgage News, and the Scotsman Guide. In addition to securing coverage for Argyle, KCD PR coordinated multiple joint interviews that included executives from more than new mortgage clients added in 2023.
