Founded in 2018, Diamond Standard came to KCD PR as a new startup in a niche marketplace, but with big goals to show the value of diamond commodities. Traditionally, investors would only show interest in gold and silver commodities—there wasn’t much room for them to understand the value of diamonds in the commodity space. Diamond Standard was looking to change this and show to both institutional and retail investors how valuable diamond commodities can be in the marketplace.
KCD PR created a media strategy that centered around building Diamond Standard as a valuable resource to potential institutional and retail clients. This meant focusing our media outreach on significant industry trade publications, along with developing key thought leadership content.
KCD PR secured media in key industry publications that spotlighted Diamond Standard and its CEO, Cormac Kinney, as a leading voice in the industry. These publications included Forbes, Financial Advisor magazine, Benzinga, Financial Planning magazine, and the Fintech Times.
